An unusual event is reported by the American media , with an Albanian as the protagonist. 

When a police officer in Dover, Delaware, responded to a frantic call about a boat sinking in the English Channel — 3,600 miles away across the Atlantic Ocean — she didn't panic.

A man in Albania called about his brother's boat sinking on August 27. He had searched for "Dover Police Department" and clicked on the first website that came up.

The first lead led him to the Dover Police Department in Delaware, however, his brother's sinking boat was off the coast of Dover, nw England.

Delaware officers took the call as if it were local, obtaining coordinates for the boat and contacting the French coast guard.

Thanks to their efforts, everyone on the boat was rescued safely.
