Italy / Albanian young man stabs Greek ex-girlfriend, media: He wanted to infect

A young Albanian man has been arrested after being accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend of Greek origin several times in Italy.

According to local media, Jetmir Kurtsmajlaj, 27, hit the student with whom he had a relationship for several months, but the motive is not very clear.

Before the prosecutor, the young man said through tears that he did not intend to kill him, but only to scare him. Before the magistrate, he talked about a plot alleged by a friend and daughter to infect him with HIV, for which there is no trace from the first reports of the carabinieri.

" I wanted to punish him, absolutely no friend is jealous of him," he specified.

The condition of the twenty-year-old girl has improved but remains serious at the Mauriziano Hospital in Turin, where she has undergone a series of surgeries.

The girl was stabbed in the chest, abdomen and neck on Sunday night.
