The Special Court of Appeals today rejected the request of Eriov Veliaj's lawyers for the return of the seized phone.

"The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a monocratic panel composed of Judge Engert Pëllumbi, today on 24.04.2025, announced the decision on criminal case no. 107, date 18.04.2025 registration, registered on the appeal of the appellant EV, with the subject: "Appeal against decision no. 132 act, date 04.03.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, for opposing the prosecutor's decision on the validation of the seizure", and decided:

Approval of decision no. 132 Act, dated 04.03.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime.

"This decision may be appealed to the Supreme Court, within 45 (forty-five) days from the day after its notification ," the announcement states.
