Heat care, Doctor Dasho: Excessive sweating, a hallmark of heatstroke

The epidemiologist Erion Dasho spoke about the health risks that come as a result of the high temperatures that have engulfed our country for a few days.

Invited to Ora news, the doctor says that the body is unable to cope with the increase in temperature, which can lead to death.

" Now is the right time to talk about this topic, since the summer season has just started. What happens are the three levels of exposure to high temperatures.

What we call heat stroke, or heat stroke, is the most serious blow that happens to the body and when the heat manages to completely disrupt the functioning.

Because the human body always stays at the levels of 36-37 degrees, the optimal temperature for the functioning of the human body.

When heatstroke occurs, the body is unable to cope with the rise in temperature, which can lead to death.

When the body is unable to replace the water and mineral salts lost during sweating, muscle spasm occurs, which is the first sign and should be used as an alarm for people who are more at risk of heatstroke. If this sweating continues, the person starts to feel weakness, dizziness, headaches and all these are indicators that the person is going to the stage of not being able to cope with high temperatures ", said doctor Erion Dasho, among other things.
