Jani Rustemi's relative died in QSUT: They told us he had a cold, he was in

Lulzim Mehmetaj, the brother-in-law of 27-year-old Jani Rustemi, who died a few days ago in QSUT, has blamed the state for the young man's death.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, he emphasized that Rustemi was a user of hashish but not of heroin.

He further added that there were two police officers who went to the 27-year-old's house and gave his mother the news that the young man was hospitalized. According to him, they did not show him that he is in a coma, but that he has a cold.

"He was not a heroin user, who gave him the methadone? Did they do the tests? Only once they allowed us to touch the boy, but they did not allow us to see if there were signs of violence or not. I do not put a finger on who violated him. Only once they allowed us to touch the boy, but they did not allow us to see if there were signs of violence or not. He wanted a man who would stand there. Two weeks after Jani was arrested, two police officers came and told the mother-in-law that her son is in the hospital. His mother-in-law told him why, he has a little cold, nothing,"  he said.
