"The dream continues...", the touching letter of Martin Cani's

The parents of Matin Cani, the 14-year-old boy who was stabbed to death by his peer Mario Perrleshi, addressed the public with a touching letter, expressing thanks and gratitude to those who supported and stood by him.

In Angel and Florina Can's letter, it is written that Martini's room will be a refuge for every footballer and friend who loved Martini. The 14-year-old's t-shirt, ball, books, notebooks and every accessory will be there, for anyone who wants to pay tribute to Martin.

The parents express their thanks to the Albanian people, saying that "the dream continues" where Martin left it and that he already sees them from above.

FULL LETTER

"The dream continues"

The steps you took laid a carpet of ideas, dreams and objectives, where you were the initiator and we were all fellow travelers.

We woke up with your smile, we were motivated with your ambitions, we had lunch and dinner with your wishes and successes.

The room where you weaved your dreams, the shelter where you were born, grew up and fought for your goals, from today on will be a shelter for every footballer, friend and admirer who loved and will forever love MARTINI.

On the walls you will find his words, jokes, dreams and goals. Any photo, t-shirt, ball, accessory or message, tasks in the notebook, completed or not... anything that each of you dedicates to the champion, is welcome in MARTIN's shelter.

This shelter is not just a place, but a source of inspiration, where every young person will learn that hard work, passion and dedication can turn dreams into reality.

Today, we are grateful to Martin for the lessons he left us. For the smile that lit up every day, for the strength that inspired the team and for his tireless spirit that always sought the best.

I take the opportunity to thank from the bottom of my soul the family, tribe, friends, teachers, coaches, all the Albanian people, in Albania, diaspora, and everywhere... who showed solidarity and stood by us in these very difficult moments for our family , the RED AND BLACK fans, who held a 1-minute silence at Air Albania, FHF and in particular President Armando Duka. Thanks and blessings to all who were a part of this wonderful journey, because Martin was not just an individual – he was a spirit, a force that brought us together and continues to guide us.

From above, Martin looks at us and greets us with a clear message:

"You have me here, like before. I am here, and I will be forever.”

He taught us that dreams never stop. Through it, we dare to dream bigger. Martin was not just a name, but a light that illuminates the path of every heart that believes in courage and the impossible.

The dream continues… and Martin will always be with us…

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Angel & Florina CANI!
