The Mountain Search and Rescue Service of Kosovo has launched a Search and Rescue operation in Valbona - Bjeshket e Nemuna.

According to Klankosova, it is about a person, a Lithuanian tourist, who went out to explore the area, but since September 5 he has not returned to the guesthouse where he was accommodated.

The citizen in question stayed in a hostel in Valbona and then left without making any announcement.

Family members and residents, after being concerned about the situation, have asked for help to locate him, since his delay and failure to call on the phone is unusual.

The tourist is suspected to have left in the direction of Theth and since September 6 there is no information about him.

The search and rescue teams of Kosovo and Albania this morning started a joint action to find him.

Searches are being focused on the Valbona - Theth path.
