The second contingent of Military Police was deployed today to the Multinational Force and Observation (MFO) mission in Sinai, Egypt.

Through a press release, the Ministry of Defense confirms that "international security is an important element in Albania's military mission".

"The Military Police has the capacities to come to the aid of our international partners as well, to whom we are at the side with our troops and specialized people", the announcement states.

The Ministry of Defense estimates that this is an important mission that includes three Military Police officers, who will contribute their experience for 12 months to fulfill their duties within the MFO.

"We wish our officers to successfully fulfill this noble mission and we hope for their safe return to their homeland", concludes the press release.
