The kidnapping and murder of Jan Prenga, the 29-year-old man from Shkodran is arrested in Kosovo

 

As it has been almost three years since the kidnapping and murder of Jan Prenga in the Kamza area, the Albanian and Kosovo police have arrested one of the organizers of this serious crime.

It is about Aldo Majnishta, 29 years old from Shkodra. Majnishti, at the time of his arrest, presented the documents of another citizen to the Kosovar authorities.

As a result of the cooperation of Interpol Tirana with these authorities, a series of verifications were carried out, from which it turned out that the citizen caught during the operation was Aldo Majnishta.

In addition, the Court of Appeal of Shkodra, in 2016, sentenced this citizen to 3 years of imprisonment (of which he has 2 years, 3 months and 15 days left to serve), for the criminal offense of "Violation of the rules of traffic ", "Disobedience to the order of the public order police officer", "Unauthorized production and possession of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Leaving the scene of the accident".

As a result of the timely exchange of information between Interpol Tirana and ILECU, Kosovo, a citizen wanted for crimes against the person was located, captured and imprisoned.

Following the work to provide information on the location of internationally wanted citizens, with the aim of capturing them, as well as following successive operations to fulfill this goal, developed with international partners, another joint operation has been finalized with the Kosovo Police, coded "Hijacking".

As a result of the timely exchange of information between Interpol Tirana and ILECU, Kosovo, this information provided by the Police structures, about a wanted citizen who was circulating in Kosovo, with the documents of another citizen, in the framework of the operation "Kidnap ", it became possible to locate, capture and arrest, with the aim of extraditing to our country, the citizen Aldo Majnishta, 29 years old, born in Shkodër, declared an international wanted.

Ky shtetas, në momentin e kapjes, ka paraqitur pranë autoriteteve kosovare, dokumentet e një shtetasi tjetër. Si rezultat i bashkëpunimit të Interpol Tiranës me këto autoritete, janë kryer një sërë verifikimesh nga të cilat ka rezultuar se shtetasi i kapur gjatë operacionit ishte Aldo Majnishta.

-Gjykata e Posaçme kundër Korrupsionit dhe Krimit të Organizuar, në vitin 2022, i ka caktuar 29-vjeçarit, masën e sigurisë “Arrest në burg”, për veprat penale “Rrëmbimi ose mbajtja peng e personit”, kryer në bashkëpunim, “Trafikimi i narkotikëve”, kryer në bashkëpunim, “Prodhimi dhe mbajtja pa leje e armëve, armëve shpërthyese dhe municionit” dhe “Fshehja ose asgjësimi i kufomës”.

Ky shtetas ishte shpallur në kërkim pasi nga hetimet ka rezultuar se është njëri nga organizatorët e rrëmbimit dhe zhdukjes së shtetasit J. P.
