The flood of Vlora, the irony of the journalist: the people of Vlora go with

Yesterday, Vlora was again faced with heavy floods, a situation that no longer surprises anyone.

For the 12th year in a row, the city is under water after heavy rains, while infrastructural problems have not been solved.

Houses, roads and businesses were flooded yesterday, and help was requested from the army, which evacuated several families.

Journalist Hysni Gurra, commenting on yesterday's floods, expressed it with harsh irony: "I can't understand why the flooding of Vlora should be news, when it doesn't bother the workers here for 12 years!?

Vlora has a deputy prime minister, tomorrow (as it is also Sunday) there will be an election, the people of Vlora will go in boots, in boats, in canoes, by swimming... to the ballot box and return the vote to Baba Ed-Mondi."

In fact, the floods have become a well-known phenomenon for the city, but even the difficult conditions do not seem to have shaken the "loyalty" of the citizens of Vlorë to Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The recent elections showed that, despite the poor living conditions and the lack of concrete solutions to the flood situation, support for the government remains unwavering, despite the huge human and material damage caused.

And the expression "what you sow, you will reap" takes on value.
