The State Police takes strong measures for the smooth running of the Albania -


The State Police has announced the detailed plan of measures to guarantee public order and security before, during and after the football match between Albania and Andorra, which will take place on March 24, 2025, at 8:45 PM, at the "Arena Kombëtare" stadium.

According to the announcement, the measures taken include:

• Escorting and securing Andorran and Albanian footballers during transport from Rinas airport to the hotel, stadium and return to Rinas.

• Detailed checks to prevent the introduction of prohibited items into the stadium, such as fireworks, flares and other pyrotechnics.


To guarantee the security of this activity, the General Patrols, the Eagles, the Criminal Police, the Traffic Police and the National Security Force will be engaged. In addition, cooperation has been established with institutions such as the Albanian Football Federation, UEFA, the Republic Guard, the Municipal Police, the Fire Service, Hospitals and first aid centers.

To ensure the smooth running of the match and facilitate vehicle traffic, from 3:00 PM until the end of the match, there will be traffic restrictions on several main roads near the stadium, such as:

• “Martyrs of the Nation” Boulevard (from the Presidency intersection to “Mother Teresa” Square)

• “Pope John Paul II” Street

• “Dervish Hima” Street

• “Asim Zeneli” Street

• “Themistokles Germenji” Street

• “Gjergj Filipi” Street

• “Lekë Dukagjini” Street (from the former Republic Guard to the stadium)

• “Faik Konica” Street

• “Skerdilajd Llagami” Street

Legal restrictions and penalties for fans


The police announce that strict controls will be exercised before entering the stadium to prevent the entry of banners with racist content, pyrotechnics, and hard and dangerous objects.

Violent acts, such as entering the field or hitting athletes and officials, will be punished with a fine or imprisonment of up to five years, according to the Albanian Criminal Code.


Also, duplicating or forging tickets is considered a criminal offense and will be dealt with severely by the authorities.


Entry to the stadium will start at 18:00. Police are asking fans to arrive early to avoid delays and long lines. In case of need, citizens can call the toll-free number 112.
