The government abolishes the Fuel Transparency Board

The Council of Ministers approved today the abolition of the Cabinet Transparency Board.

The Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj, said that the board has been abolished because the prices have already stabilized.

"Another important decision, with the beginning of the crisis, established a transparency board for price control. Since then, prices have fluctuated greatly. We decided to define some profit margins in order to limit the effect of hydrocarbon speculation and to limit abuses. We decided to abolish the hydrocarbons board and the special situation in this market", said Ibrahimaj.
