'Republic of Promises', Dervishi: Water in Albania flows only in

Analyst Lutfi Dervishi has ironized one of the Rama government's most sensational and repeated promises, the 24-hour water supply.

Dervishi, in a post on the social network Facebook, highlights the contrast between electoral promises and the daily reality of citizens, who still face a lack of drinking water, increased prices, and incompetent administration.

In the "Republic of Promises," as he calls it, water does not flow from taps, but only in songs and political speeches.

Post:

It flows into songs and speeches

In 2013, water was promised 24 hours a day. And like every promise, this one was kept… but in improved versions:

Every 24 hours, citizens regularly receive water at a tripled price in three meals:

In the morning to wash your face,

at lunch to boil beans,

and at dinner to wash away sins.

Anyone who dares to ask for water outside of these hours is considered an "enemy of the pump and the party" and is punished with... the nickname "çyryk"!

The pump only works when there is water in the network.

The administrator is always there, but only to remind you that even when you have a pump, you have no power over the network!

Because in the Republic of Promises,

Water flows only in songs and lectures!
