Snowfall, State Police appeal: Equip yourself with chains and winter tires

As a result of the heavy snowfall on the National Road, in Bulqiza and some other mountain roads of the country, the State Police has called on the drivers of vehicles and motorcycles to be extra careful if they move on these roads.

"Be careful when driving, respect road signs, reduce speed, be equipped with chains and winter tires, and follow the instructions of the Traffic Police services.

Concession firms and contractors are on the ground on Ruga e Kombit and other axes where there is snowfall and are continuing without interruption the work to clear the roads from snow, to distribute salt.

Until these moments, there is no road axis blocked.

In case of need, call the toll-free number 112 and the Police services will immediately come to your aid," the State Police posted on social networks.
