Heavy snowfall in the Southeast, the thickness reaches 7cm

The southeast of the country was engulfed by heavy snowfall yesterday, the average intensity of which was denser at heights above 1200 m.

In the tourist village of Dardha, the snow went up to 7 cm, while cleaning and salting work was also done on the national roads that were affected by the rains.

Snow plows have been on the ground on the Korçë-Pogradec, Pogradec-Qafëthanë axes and on the Korçë-Erseke axis in Qafë e Qarri.

So, in the Korçë-Panarit road segment, the thickness of the snow is reported to have reached 4 cm, while the rainfall was of low intensity.

There were no problems with the circulation of vehicles, but the drivers of the vehicles are appealed to circulate with chains and to show increased caution.
