The EU-BP summit in Tirana, the analyst tells why Vucic rejected Rama

Serbian President Aleksandër Vucic will not be present at the EU-Western Balkans Summit that will be held in Tirana on December 6.

Vucic announced yesterday that he will cancel his participation in the summit by accusing the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.

Analyst Agron Maliqi told Euronews Albania why Vucic made the decision to say 'no' to the summit organized by EU leaders. Maliqi said that Vucic mostly made a move against the Europeans than against Rama.

"It's more of a desperation move that I don't think will be understood. It is excessive as a reaction, that an appointment of a minister becomes a trigger for not participating in the first joint event held in the Balkans" , said Maliqi.

Vučič's decision not to participate in the EU-BP Summit in Tirana comes after the appointment of Nenad Rashiči as a minister in the Government of Kosovo.
