A 23-year-old man was arrested by the police in Tirana, after he was suspected of distributing narcotics near schools.

The police say that the arrest of the 23-year-old was carried out as part of the nationwide operation, "Tempulli" with over 100 arrested.

POLICE NOTICE:

Tirana/The police mega-operation codenamed "Tempulli" continues, for the attack on the criminal activities of the distribution of narcotics, in the vicinity of schools. A case of distribution of narcotics in the vicinity of schools was identified and dealt with, the 23-year-old was arrested and put in handcuffs. A quantity of narcotic substance cannabis sativa, divided into doses ready for sale, is seized.

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, following the intensive operational actions carried out within the framework of the nationwide, anti-drug police mega-operation, coded "Tempulli", after having provided information that in the vicinity of some schools in Laprakë, a citizen was selling narcotics, have organized the work to capture and put him before the legal responsibility. As a result, on "Gjergj Legisi" street, FB citizen, 23 years old, resident in Tirana, was caught and arrested in the act.

During the search, the Police services found the 23-year-old, a quantity of suspected narcotic cannabis, divided into doses, ready for sale. The narcotic substance was seized as material evidence.

From the verifications carried out, it was found that this citizen, after providing cannabis narcotics, divided it into doses, which he then sold near schools, in the area of ​​Lapraka.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further procedural actions.
