Today is the Night of Qadr, why is it as valid as 1000 months?

The night of Qadr is considered the holiest night of the year for Muslims and according to the Islamic religion, fasting on this day is considered as valid as a thousand months.

For this reason, the number of people who fast today is much greater than those who fast throughout the month of Ramadan.

And why is the night of Qadr as valuable as a person's life, i.e. a thousand months?

The night of Qadr marks the descent of the Koran to earth and the beginning of the writing of the holy book. According to the Islamic religion, on this day God determines the fate and life of a person during a year, and finding this day with increased fasting and worship is the premise for a good year to come. It is thought that there are thousands, not only Muslim believers, who fast on the day of Qadr.

With the permission of their Lord on the night of Qadr, it is said that angels and the spirit (Jibril) descend for each matter. That (which God decrees) is peace until the dawn of the morning. Muslims believe that the Qur'an was revealed on the night of Qadr to Muhammad by Allah. The descent began in the cave of Hira in Mecca. The first surah to be revealed was Surah Alaq.

What should a Muslim do on the Night of Qadr?

Do as much as I want (prayer).

To do tauba and istighfar (repent for sins and ask for mercy from God the Great.

To increase the rosaries (the mentioned and glorified of Allah) and thanksgiving.

To make salawat for the Prophet as well

Give charity as much as you can.

To guard against the sins of the limbs (hands, feet, eye, ear, etc.).

He should not spend the prayers without congregation (that is, he should pray as much as possible in the mosque).
