Trump's Tariffs, Buxhuku: Golden Opportunity for Albania and Kosovo

The administrator of Konfindustria, Gjergj Buxhuku, has shown how the imposition of new global tariffs by US President Donald Trump affects Albania and Kosovo.
Speaking to News 24, he described the situation as a golden opportunity for both countries.
"With Trump's moves to change global trade policies, a market reformation will resume," said Buxhuku.
"Albania and Kosovo currently have two times fewer customs tariffs than the European Union and up to 3.7 times less than countries in the region, including Turkey," he stressed.
According to him, this tariff advantage should be used to attract European manufacturers seeking easier access to the American market.
"This is the moment for our economies to call on European companies to relocate their production to Albania and Kosovo, taking advantage of the advantages they offer for trade with the US," he added.
