Four people have been arrested, while two others have been declared wanted by the Tirana police, as they are accused of trying to get 70,000 from a businessman through fraud.

Xhonatan Xhaferri, 24 years old, Leonard Xhika, 39 years old, Mikel Panxhi, 30 years old, all three residents of Elbasan, and Petro Ferzaj, 51 years old, resident of Vlora, were put in handcuffs.

Xhensil Qefa, 27 years old, resident of Elbasan, and Florian Gjergji, 40 years old, resident of Shkodër, were also declared wanted.

These persons "tried to deceive a citizen (businessman) in order to benefit from the sum of 70,000 euros, presenting themselves as representatives of a state official", the police announced this Friday.

As material evidence, 2 vehicles and 6 mobile devices were seized.

The action coded "Fraud" was carried out by the officers of police station 6 in cooperation with the economic crime investigations in the Tirana and Elbasan directorates, under the direction of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office.
