Nationalist calls, UEFA launches investigation into Croatia-Albania match

After the match with Italy, UEFA has started another investigation for Albania, this time for the match against Croatia.

The news has been confirmed by the highest football body in Europe, where it writes that this was a result of the improper behavior of the fans with discriminatory and racist calls, also for the Mirlind Daku celebration.

"In accordance with Article 31(4) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations, a UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector has been appointed today to conduct an investigation into alleged racist and/or discriminatory behavior by supporters that occurred within the European Championship 2024 in the group stage match between the representative teams of the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) and the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), played on June 19, 2024 in Hamburg, Germany.

In relation to the group stage match of the European Championship 2024 between the representative teams of the Croatian Football Federation and the Albanian Football Federation played on June 19, 2024 in Hamburg, Germany, an investigation has been opened regarding the alleged inappropriate behavior of the player of the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), Mr. Mirlind Daku.
