Operation 'Klithma' by the Civil Guard has ended with the crackdown on a marijuana cultivation criminal group inside homes in the province of Malaga. Agents from the Civil Guard Company Vélez Málaga have arrested eight people after an operation in which they seized fifteen kilograms of marijuana ready for the market.

The investigation began after agents learned of the existence of an isolated house in the town of Torrox where there may have been a marijuana plantation inside. They found that around the house there were strange movements of people entering and leaving the farm in various rental vehicles.

During the investigation, agents confirmed that these people were part of a criminal organization of Albanian and Greek origin cultivating marijuana in several homes throughout the province of Malaga.

In 7 searches, 8 members of this organization were arrested and 4 indoor marijuana plantations were discovered in the cities of Vélez-Málaga, Torrox-Costa, Alhaurín de la Torre and Málaga, while a thousand marijuana plants, 3 vehicles, documentation were seized. and various materials for the cultivation and processing of narcotics.
