"Tourist" Vlora drowned in garbage, the mayor: We will not put it in

Despite Prime Minister Edi Rama continuing his "tourist" propaganda from morning to night, the reality is quite the opposite, as now that we are on the verge of the summer season, Vlora is submerged in garbage.

On March 26, the show "Tak Fak" was in Vlora where it saw the situation with urban waste up close. The mayor of Vlora, Ermal Dredha, promised at the time that this problem would be solved within 10 days, by putting the Sharishta landfill into operation, but a month has passed and the situation has not changed.

Garbage continues to be dumped at the landfill, although Mayor Dredha said that inert materials would be dumped at this location, but from the footage, garbage collection vehicles continue to work normally, unloading waste at the same location.

Contacted by the "Tak Fak" journalist, Vlora Mayor Ermal Dredha said that until the Sharishta landfill opens, waste will continue to be dumped in the usual place.

"Of course, we won't put them in our pockets. It's not like you'll just shout and open it. Until Sherishta opens, logic leads you to throw them there," said Dredha.
