The murder of Egli Proga in Pogradec, Rrumbullaku is caught with the media: We

State Police Director Muhamet Rrumbullaku has given a statement to the media regarding the death of Eglantin Proga in Pogradec. 

He has described as scandalous the hints that the state police tried to hide the event.

Muhamet Rrumbullak's reaction: 

There has been a disinformation and misinformation about the event that happened a few days ago in Pogradec where a 42-year-old man lost his life. I am obliged to inform the public that the allusion that there was an attempt to hide the event by the head of the Pogradec Police Station is baseless. It is scandalous as there is no evidence.

At no time and under no circumstances was there an attempt to hide or minimize a serious event. It was highly rated by the police station of Pogradec.

The scene was visited, the cameras of the surrounding premises were seized, several people were escorted, and investigative actions were carried out. As a result of the professional actions carried out by the investigative group, it became possible to elucidate and document the event.

The perpetrator was identified and three others were arrested for not reporting the crime. The Korçë Police Directorate has given the first official notification, which for various reasons was distorted and denied.

Mudslinging in this case is not simply unfounded, but morally and legally condemned. I want to let you know that legal steps will be taken to finally make transparency on the causes of this misinformation. Events are clear as sunlight. We have referred to it as intentional murder' , Rrumbullaku said.
