The lawyer of Pjerin Xhuvan's family, Rezarta Tahiraj, has raised the alarm that one of the witnesses to his murder in the April 21 elections may be in danger.

According to the lawyer, in the session held on February 1, this witness affirmed that he can identify the two armed persons, who according to him had threatened the victim before the incident, reports News 24.

The lawyer says that the witness's life may be in danger and may be threatened by the two persons in question, who demand the change of the witness's statements.

"With his statements in the process, this witness may have indirectly contributed to the discovery of the mystery of the pistol shells of different calibers expertized by the police. The evidence that he saw these two aggressors contributes, among other things, to clarifying that before the arrival of the doctor, among the components of the paramilitary structure of vote protection or their collaborators, not only the killer had weapons, but of course these two other people and maybe also others. Who will protect the witness from the danger that those two armed persons, who have not yet been identified, put his life in danger or threaten him to force him to change his statements" , says Tahiraj.
