Albin Kurti is expected at a tense rally, fireworks are thrown at the Prime

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti was not well received by citizens today at an election rally in Skenderaj, as part of the campaign for the February 9 elections.

During Prime Minister Albin Kurti's attempts to enter the hall where the rally was to be held, fireworks and pyrotechnic devices were thrown in his direction.

Media in Kosovo report that there are no reports of injuries, but the incident has caused tensions.

Meanwhile, a few minutes ago, near the place where the rally was being held, dozens of sympathizers of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) were heard chanting "We are PDK, Thaçi - Thaçi" and "Albin, come on."

Also, shouts of "Zdravo" have been heard, which are related to the recent audio recording of the head of the Vetëvendosje Parliamentary Group, Mimoza Kusari, with Milan Radoiçic, an event that has caused great controversy.

The Minister of Culture, Hajrulla Çeku, has reacted to the incident.

"Some cuckolds orchestrated by the party tried to disrupt the Vetëvendosje rally in Skenderaj. Surprisingly, the parallel municipality of Serbia there did not impress them much."

"Forget that you are stopping us. We are breaking bastions one by one, corner by corner. Yesterday in Decan, today in Drenica, and every day up to 500 thousand hearts of February 9. Primitive politics does not pass," Çeku wrote on social networks.
