The Basic Court in Pristina has decided the measure of detention for 30 days against three people suspected of involvement in the murder of Liridona Ademaj.
Naim Murseli, Granit Plava and Kushtrim Kokalla are the accused who will remain in custody for a month.
Discussions about the measure of detention took place during a special session, where the suspect Murseli took part together with his lawyer, Ahmet Ahmeti.
In his defense, Murseli emphasized that he had not left the scene and that he himself had been in danger, seeking help until the arrival of the police.
"I didn't run away from the scene, I was even in danger myself and asked for help at the same time until the police arrived," the suspect is said to have said according to the court's decision.
While lawyer Ahmeti said that Murseli had not committed the crime as described in the indictment file and emphasized that he was not involved in the act of murder.
In an effort to avoid detention, lawyer Ahmeti asked the court not to approve the request of the prosecution or, on the contrary, to assign a milder, alternative measure
