Rama's Israeli friend under investigation by Senegalese justice, has 3 businesses in Albania

Ron Yeffect, an Israeli businessman and former honorary consul of Senegal in Tel Aviv, has been placed under investigation by the Senegalese justice system.

The investigation began after the businessman rented several plots of land, including a 10,000-square-meter waterfront plot in the wealthy Plateau neighborhood of Dakar. With the arrival of a new Senegalese power, all the files remaining under the control of OFNAC (National Office for the Fight against Fraud and Corruption) have now been made public.

Known to be close to former Senegalese President Macky Sall, Ron Yeffect acquired several plots of land belonging to the Senegalese state by mutual agreement. The main beneficiary of the DSC company, the businessman won a contract to build university residences for more than 31 billion CFA francs (55 million euros).

The regime change in March 2024 put an abrupt end to his ambitions. Yeffect, Senegal's current honorary consul in Tel Aviv, could soon be summoned to Dakar to answer some questions, if only the latter prefers to hide behind his Israeli immunity, local media write.

Israeli under investigation with 3 businesses in Albania

It seems that Yennef has well-established roots within the Albanian government. 

Also known as a friend of Prime Minister Edi Rama, it turns out that Yeffet is the owner of at least 3 businesses in Albania.

Specifically, "1820 Black Oil", "1820 Albania" and "UNO18" are the 3 names under which it officially operates in Albania.

"Uno18" was founded on September 2, 2024, and focuses on the trade of aircraft, such as airplanes, helicopters and other spare parts.

"1820 Black Oil", which focuses on trading fuels and their by-products

as well as "1820 Albania" which focuses on IT information technology services.
