Basha & Rama's weired campaign

The April 25 election campaign will be recorded as the strangest in over 30 years of campaigning. The SP leader, although at the end of his second term, seeks the third with the innocence of the first time. One of his jokes is: "we are not the best, but there is no better than". A clear attempt to raise the platform of the campaign, not on oneself, but the opponent.

Remember that, in 2013, when he was seeking his first term in office, Rama declared 'Sali is to blame'. Eight years later, guilt, as always despised, is pushed like an orphan into someone else’s lap.

Even if we are not talking about guilt, but mistakes in governance, the majority had to offer a confrontation with itself instead of stigmatizing the opponent. Of course, this is an electoral tactic that can fire, but it is also an assassination attempt against logic, for that part of the voters who come out of the bipolar militancy of Tirana politics.

Edi Rama himself has suffered from permanent anti-oppositionist in Albania and is using the same instrument in power. He appears so innocent in his incursion for a third term that he recalls the erotic experience within the anonymous gender of a joke. Who after the surrender, as with difficulty, of the first time' comes and asks the 'co-conspirator' later: 'yes twice, what is your name?'

Rama seems to seek to create the same distance as the 'first time' when he seeks government for the third time. Three times, of course, you will be called prime minister and then you will not blame the opposition.

A strange request to the government is formulated by the chairman of the Democratic Party. "If I do not keep my promises, I will not ask for a second term," says Basha. In an attempt to say that I will not lie to you like Rama, or that I am not as my reputation has turned out, the leader of the opposition makes the biggest possible lie.

First, he can not withdraw the party he leads from a normal and cyclical election process, and second, it means that the party he leads, after the first term promised, enters the election in form, because it will lose!

Ka edhe një moment vetërrëfimi autoritarist në gjithë këtë, sepse Basha barazon fatin e vet me atë të partisë. Pra, rënia e tij është edhe e PD, gjë që nuk duhet të jetë e vërtetë. Edhe Enver Hoxha fliste për vazhdimësi pas vdekjes.

Në fund ai vetëzbulon edhe pak dëshpërim. Atë qullësi të dikujt që nuk i afrohet objektit të vet të dëshirës me sigurinë se e meriton atë, por shkrehet në një formulë lypëse që mund të përkthehet: ‘aman, ma lër një herë!’.

Kujtoni se, në vitin 2013, kur kërkonte mandatin e parë qeverisës, Rama shpallte ‘fajin e ka Saliu’. Tetë vjet më vonë, faji, si gjithmonë i përbuzur, shtyhet si jetimi në prehrin e dikujt tjetër.

Edhe nëse nuk flasim për faje, por gabime në qeverisje, mazhoranca duhej të ofronte një përballje me veten në vend të stigmatizimit të kundërshtarit. Sigurisht, kjo është taktikë elektorale që mund të shkrepë, por është edhe atentat kundër logjikës, për atë pjesë të votuesve që dalin jashtë militancës bipolare të politikës së Tiranës.

Edi Rama ka vuajtur vetë nga anti-opozitarizmi permanent në Shqipëri dhe është duke përdorur të njëjtin instrument në pushtet. Aq i pafajshëm shfaqet ai në inkursionin e tij për mandatin e tretë, sa të kujton përvojën erotike brenda gjinisë të anonimit të një barcalete. I cili pas dorëzimit, si me zor, të ‘herës së parë’ vjen dhe pyet ‘bashkëkomplotistin’ më vonë: ‘po me dy herë, a quhesh?’

Rama duket se kërkojë të krijojë të njëjtën distancë me ‘herën e parë’ kur kërkon qeveri për të tretën. Me tri herë, medoemos, do quhesh kryeministër dhe paskëtaj nuk do ia hedhësh fajin opozitës.

Një kërkesë të çuditshme drejt pushtetit formulon edhe kryetari i PD. ‘Nëse nuk i mbaj premtimet nuk do kërkoj mandat të dytë’, thotë Basha. Në një përpjekje për të thënë se nuk do iu gënjej si Rama, apo se nuk jam ashtu si më ka dalë nami, shefi i opozitës bën gënjeshtrën më të madhe të mundshme.

E para, ai nuk mund të tërheqë partinë që drejton nga një proces normal dhe ciklik zgjedhjesh, dhe e dyta se nënkupton se partia që drejton, pas mandatit të parë premtimpambajtur, hyn në zgjedhje sa për formë, sepse do të humbasë!

There is also a moment of authoritarian self-confession in all this because Basha equates his fate with that of the party. So, his downfall is also that of the DP, which should not be true. Enver Hoxha also spoke about continuity after death.

In the end, he reveals himself a little more despair. That puddle of someone who does not approach his object of desire for sure that he deserves it, but melts into a begging formula that can be translated: 'please, give it to me just once!'.
