A new socialist fine for Shkodra

A new socialist fine for Shkodra

By  Bardh Spahia
The extortion of Shkodra residents by the mayor appointed by criminal gangs has not stopped.
After the increase in the price of water, without bringing any improvement in the service, after the maximum increase of some other fees mainly for business, without any criteria and without offering anything, Benet Beci will stop Shkodra residents from parking for free on the street.
The proposal of the mayor with votes bought by crime and corruption is not based on any study and does not bring any benefit to the citizens, on the contrary. The capital city's Veliaj model, where parking was paid for allegedly to influence less traffic, is a failed model. Traffic in Tirana remains a gangrene, even though there are no roads left without tolls.
Only the municipality will benefit from paid parking on the streets of Shkodra, which, regardless of the fact that Shkodra holds the first place in the national ranking for unemployment and faces extraordinary economic difficulties, will increase the budget by increasing the monthly expenses. at the expense of Shkodra families.
Over 1,250 families will pay at least 8,800 lek or 88 euros per month just for parking.
Paid parking will create stress and a new problem for residents near these areas. They will no longer have a place to park for free, they will spend more time and fuel and therefore more pollution will be created to find a free parking space. I am not including here the effect of a fine for any inappropriate parking on secondary roads between residential areas. This will happen practically throughout the city, as the streets where the obligation to pay parking will be imposed are the main streets in the city of Shkodra, Shiroka and Velipojë:
Boulevard "Zogu i Parë"
Street "Studenti"
Street "Qemal Draqini"
Street "Martin" Camaj"
Street "Vilson"
Boulevard "Skënderbeu"
Boulevard "Bujar Bishanaku"
Parking lot at the entrance of Shiroka.
Parking lot at the exit from the center of Shiroka.
Parking lot in the center of Velipoja.
Parking lot on Pashko Selita Street, Velipojë.
A government that is supported by organized crime and corruption is not only not accountable to the citizens, but will continue to burden them with other taxes with which it aims to cover the lack of attention from the state budget. It will continue to impoverish them, bring their souls to the tip of their noses and force them to leave, as they have done with thousands and thousands of Shkodra people who, unfortunately, also hold the first place for emigration.
Those who campaigned by cursing Shkodra as backward and being proud of Vlora's promenade, during the floods a few days ago, saw the collapse of the model of abuse and 3D propaganda.
After they completely failed to have a vision of their own or serious investments from the municipality's budget, they have found shelter and propagate the projects of the Municipality when it was run by PD, some of which were realized and others sent for financing to the government and the Albanian Development Fund, which until now by political orders, they were locked up, but none of these revivalists of Shkodra opened their mouths for 11 years of persecution of the Shkodra people by the central government, even though the Shkodra people paid taxes the same as others. While now suddenly those projects and requests are given the OK for financing.
It is futile to expect reflection from those who put their personal and party interests before the interest of Shkodra and Albania.
But we have a way to stop this evil. This power must be rejected in any way and by any means! Let's get together and react! There is no one better than us to govern Shkodra and Albania in the best interest of our citizens!
