Protests for Ilaria and the murderous silence for Martin

By Ndriçim Mehmeti
A few days ago, the neighboring country, Italy, was shocked by a crime that took the life of a 22-year-old Albanian, Ilaria Sula. Her friends, the public opinion, students and alumni, expressed their revolt, for the way in which a brilliant student and a model citizen was taken from her life. The city where she was born, held a day of mourning for her Albanian daughter, the University where she had studied and not only, closed its doors and went out in mass protest.
Martini was killed at the school gate. We did not even hold 1 hour, let alone 1 day of mourning, for the boy. The school continued classes that day and opened its doors the next day, as if the bird that came to feed at the school tree had broken its arm and someone was taking care of it in the doctor's room. Citizens pretended to be touched, when they passed by the school gate, muttering: "Oh God. Thank God it didn't happen to me." The Ministry of Interior and Education were all in a race to hide, justify, and distort the event (today the Ministry of Education has not yet completed the administrative investigation into the "F. Noli" school for those responsible for the event).
In Italy, the state, students, and society were on their feet to learn the fate of Ilaria, in the streets protesting against what happened to Ilaria.
Our daughter, Ilaria. Take care of Martin up there, like the big sister he didn't have in this life but found in heaven, because we, the state of the European passport, modern society, who scream from morning to night, for Gjesti and Gerta, forgot Martin the day after his murder.
Ps. Don't forget for dinner, prime. Potatoes, Seeds, pizza, ice cream, because it's a long night full of surprises.
