Social media sensation Hasbulla is arrested

UFC ambassador and social media sensation Hasbulla Magomedov was reportedly arrested in his native Dagestan for multiple driving violations while he was with a group of friends celebrating the wedding of one of them. The 20-year-old and his friends blocked a main street to make donuts. Hasbulla apologized for the incident on social media and promised to never do it again as he confirmed that he was not the one driving the car.

"This will not happen again, we apologize," Hasbulla wrote on Twitter. "We have to answer for that. I wasn't giving the car."

Dagestan's Ministry of Internal Affairs issued a statement saying burning tires and blocking roads is a common tradition in the country when celebrating a wedding.

"Unbridled fun on wedding occasions in Dagestan is a tradition for many people," the statement said. "In the absence of other ways of entertainment, such a primitive option is still extremely popular - blocking roads for other road users, burning tires, crashing cars into each other and many other features that, in in fact, they have nothing to do with the party."

According to the ministry, the group of friends had stated that the "emotions of the wedding" had caused them to carry out such actions.

"All participants were sent to the police, and in connection with them, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan drew up administrative protocols for all violations," the statement reads  .

Hasbulla, who has Growth Hormone Deficiency, more commonly known as "dwarfism," first went viral in 2021 and now has over 9 million followers on Instagram. He hails from the same country as UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov, who has become his best friend. This is the second time in a few months that Hasbulla is in trouble. Recently, social media criticized his actions towards a cat and he also apologized for that incident.
