Britney Spears is stopped by the police

Britney Spears has been pulled over by California police for driving without a license and no proof of insurance, according to court records obtained by  Page Six.  Violations resulted in a $1,140 fine owed.

Spears' attorney, Matthew Rosengart, told Page Six exclusively that "Britney carries her license with her at all times." 

Despite a ledger being released on the same day as her court appearance, sources have clarified that there is no court appearance and pending payments can be made online. Spears will release her long-awaited memoir, The Woman In Me, on October 24.

Spears' confrontation with police over a BOC violation was preceded by a police visit to her home later in the month.
