Even the iPhone will soon have its own foldable phone
Apple has repeatedly stated that it does not want to launch a foldable iPhone in the near term, however, the company continues to receive new patents. The US company is working on more than one foldable iPhone prototype, which appeared in a new patent for foldable display technology at the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). According to the patent filing, the device will have an accelerometer-like sensor that will detect when your iPhone hits the ground.
We recall that Apple is facing an unprecedented wave of resignations among its employees. According to a recent Bloomberg report, during the second half of 2022, Apple lost 12 high-ranking executives. Most of them even held the title of vice president. Hierarchically, they were directly under the senior vice president who reports to the company's CEO, Tim Cook. Apple decided to replace the executives with other internal workers.
Meanwhile, Apple introduced green versions of the iPhone 13 line last March, and according to Weibo user Setsuna Digital, the company will unveil the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus in yellow this spring. We can't confirm Setsuna's record, and their Weibo post talking about the yellow iPhone 14 launching in spring 2023 is from January.
