Instagram is down for many users in the US, UK, parts of Europe, Asia and Australia on Friday.
The problem has started around midday. While the cause of the outage remains unknown, Instagram users have been sharing their concerns on social network X.
Meta, the company that runs Instagram, has not yet released an official statement on the cause of the problem.
This glitch occurs just days after another similar outage that affected users on March 11.
Instagram, which has over 2 billion monthly active users, is one of the most popular platforms but appears to experience frequent outages, with some reports pointing to a similar event even earlier this year.
