Margot Robbie will star as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken in the new "Barbie" movie that will premiere next summer. It has recently been learned that Margot has been announced as the 'highest paid new actress' after her colossal salary for the much talked about comedy was revealed.

The Australian actress, 32, is raking in $12.5 million to star in Oscar-nominated director and writer Greta Gerwig's film based on the iconic Mattel doll of the same name. Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken in the film, also earned $12.5 million.

Other high-earning actors who still rank above Robbie's impressive salary range include screen legends such as; Denzel Washington in "The Equalizer 3", which collected $20 million, Leonardo DiCaprio in "Killers of the Flower Moon", which comes in at $30 million, and Tom Cruise, who ranks as the highest paid actor with $100 million dollars for "Top Gun: Maverick".

As for the female actors, "Stranger Things" star Millie Bobby Brown earned $10 million for the new Netflix movie "Enola Holmes 2." Also on the list were Jamie Lee Curtis in "Halloween Ends" with $3.5 million and Anya-Taylor Joy in "Furiosa" earning $1.8 million.

Robbie previously earned $10 million for her 2020 Harley Quinn film Birds of Prey. The "I, Tonya" actress stars alongside Gosling, 41, as Ken as well as Simu Liu, Will Ferrell, Michael Cera, Issa Rae and Kate McKinnon in next year's "Barbie."

We recall that the famous Australian actress reached the peak of her career after the role of Harley Quinn in the famous movie "Suicide Squad". In an interview for "The Hollywood Reporter" she stated that fame has many consequences and some of these cost a lot of money.
