Ali Ahmet calls from Skopje: Remove the borders between Albania, Kosovo and

The chairman of the Democratic Union for Integration (BDI) party, Ali Ahmeti, appealed from Skopje to remove the borders between Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia.

Ahmeti said that a concrete example is that of the countries of the European Union that do not have borders between them.
"I am a very strong supporter of the United States and Europe. Let's remove the borders like France and Germany have removed, let's remove the borders between Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo", said Ali Ahmeti in a televised debate.

Ahmet's request comes at the most important moment for Albanians in Macedonia, as from today and for at least five months, the country will be led by an Albanian.

He is Talat Xhaferri, former speaker of the Macedonian Parliament and earlier, a fighter of the National Liberation Army (KLA) in 2001 when the country was under Macedonian extremist rule and the Ohrid Agreement was finally reached.
