Yuri Kim meets Finance Minister: Strengthen anti-corruption measures!

US Ambassador to Tirana Yuri Kim held a meeting yesterday with the Minister of Finance and Economy Delina Ibrahimaj.
Kim shared the news with a post on Twitter, reiterating the US call to strengthen anti-corruption measures. The ambassador adds that clear rules, efficient processes and clean courts attract more investment.
"I met yesterday with the new Minister of Finance and Economy Delina Ibrahimaj to congratulate him on his appointment. The US calls for strengthening anti-money laundering measures, as recommended as essential to the fight against corruption. The US supports fiscalization and digitalization of procedures to improve taxation, transparency, and accountability. Clear rules, efficient processes and clean courts will attract investment, will be protected from bad actors. "This is the link between democracy, defense and business," the US ambassador wrote on Twitter.
