Chief Democrat Sali Berisha was asked from the Assembly headquarters, among other things, about the decision of MP Agron Shehaj to leave the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party.

Berisha has expressed that he respects his decision.

" Deputy Agron Shehu is a deputy like every other deputy has his judgment and in this respect I respect the opinion of every deputy. I have spoken, I have told him that I respect his decision. Shehaj added that all the issues raised by the opposition and its leaders are right.

" There is no disagreement, there is no preoccupation, I am absolutely not... I think differently from... I do not agree with the decisions that have been made this time. We came out of the local elections with a result that was disappointing. The majority had practically won 90% of municipalities. They lost some of the most important municipalities. It was clear that this result shows how democratic this country is. So all the issues raised by the opposition and the leaders of the opposition are correct. On the other hand, it is clear that there I would say a lack of hope and trust on the part of our voters. I know the reasons. What I propose is that we provide solutions ," said Shehaj.
