Artists, doctors, former ministers, new names running for the DP National

The Re-establishment Commission has made public the list of candidates for the new National Council of the Democratic Party.

At tomorrow's meeting of the National Assembly about 1800 delegates will choose between 420 candidates for 150 seats in the new National Council.

In the published list, not only new figures among artists or well-known doctors have stood out, but also 'old' figures of the Democratic Party.

Thus, the list of candidates includes former ministers Arben Imami, Ardian Turku, Florion Mima and Myqerem Tafaj.

Former MPs Adriana Gjonaj, Albina Deda, Aleksandër Biberaj are also part of the list, as well as representatives from the Greek minority, Spiro Ksera and Kosta Barka, while Enkelejd Alibeaj's supporters will remain outside the National Council. 

Among the artists, the names of Bujar Kapexhiu, Bleona Qerreti, Renis Gjoka, Julian Deda, Rubens Shima, Rajmonda Bulku, Fioralba Dizdari, director Robert Budina, Kastriot Çipi, stand out.

Well-known doctor, epidemiologist Ilir Alimehmeti is also listed in the list of candidates, who two days ago appeared alongside former Prime Minister Sali Berisha in conversation with professors on the challenges of higher education.

The National Assembly of the Democratic Party, organized by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, will convene tomorrow at 10:00 in the Palace of Congresses.
