"They are like Gaddafi's bodyguards", Berisha: Rama's ministers cannot show any projects in support of women

"They are like Gaddafi's bodyguards", Berisha: Rama's

During his speech at the international conference 'Global She', DP leader Sali Berisha said that Edi Rama has not implemented any project for Albanian women and girls in 12 years of governance. According to him, Rama's ministers cannot show any project in support of women, as they have become like Gaddafi's bodyguards.

Berisha : Albanian women faced increasing poverty for these 12 years.
If in free market countries, in market laws, poverty decreases, in dictatorships and narco-dictatorships, poverty is always increasing.
And this happened in these 12 years in Albania.
What happened? Salaries remained low, except for high salaries. High salaries in Albania are higher than in Croatia, than in Slovenia. While low salaries are the lowest in Europe. In Albania, the difference between low and high salaries is 120-15 times. This does not happen in any democratic country.
It does not happen either in the USA or in Germany because there are some principles and when the problem comes, low salaries are more common among women and girls.
So their position has deteriorated rapidly in these years.
Their spiritual state has worsened due to the fact that they have sent abroad, and only for economic reasons, hundreds of thousands of their daughters and sons.
It has worsened because they cannot feed, as UNICEF shows, 21 percent of Albanian families cannot provide three meals, they provide a total of two meals to their children.
It is true that Edi Rama appointed ministers with a majority in his cabinet and you know, I stood up in parliament and congratulated him sincerely.
But what can I say after 4 years?
4 years, absolutely, they have not raised a single issue in the promotion, in favor, in the protection of women and girls in Albania. none.
And there was a moment when the French government gave the Albanian government a grant of 60 million euros entirely dedicated to supporting women. I stood up and proposed that we add to it, make it 100 million and this is a chance to help girls and women.
Absolutely not. They incorporated it into the budget and did not leave a single penny.
And all those ladies were there and did not speak.
It became famous what I said that you behave like Gaddafi's bodyguards, who praised Gaddafi.
This is also a kind of misogyny that does not show 12 years of a special program to support women and girls in Albania.
It does not show a program to support mothers who are heads of families, which are numerous today.
