The mandate of Olta Xhaçka, Berisha: The Constitution was annihilated

The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has commented on the vote of the socialist deputies not to send the issue of the mandate of the deputy, Olta Xhaçka, to the Constitutional Court.

"With this act, Edi Rama proved that all the powers are concentrated in his hands today, that he no longer controls only the Cabinet, the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, the Court of Fact, but he already and in an extremely rare case when it is not enough after the monstrous pressures it puts on the judges to be sure of the decision they want, created the Xhafaj commission to multiply the Constitutional Court by zero," said Berisha, among other things.

Late last night in the parliament, Edi Rama, through the Xhafa commission, carried out a real coup d'état.

Last night, in an anti-constitutional vote, Edi Rama, through the Xhafaj commission, destroyed the constitution.

In article 70, which defines the relations of the parliament with the Constitutional Court in cases where deputies abuse or act contrary to this article.

The deputies of the majority for the second time rejected, blocked the implementation of Article 70 of the Constitution, which in point three sanctions; that deputies cannot carry out any profitable activity that originates from the property of the state or local government, nor can they acquire the property of these.

Olta Xhaçka, a family member, former family member of the Rama clan, minister and today still an MP, after announcing with Edi Rama and the connections she has with the Rama family, Artan Gaçi, the current husband of Olta Xhaçka, a strategic investor, gave you 10,000 square meters of land in Himara, public land, a terrible appropriation which was carried out in violation of any law.

Article 70 in point 4 defines: that for any violation of paragraph 3 of this article, with the motion of the President of the Assembly or one-tenth of its members, the Assembly decides to send the case to the Constitutional Court, which determines the incompatibility of the mandate of the deputy with the given person.

But last night Edi Rama with the Xhafa commission ordered the parliament to block the submission to the Constitutional Court of the mandate of Olta Xhaçka, de facto annihilated the Constitutional Court, without which the constitution turns into a worthless document.

With this act, Edi Rama proved that all the powers are concentrated in his hands today, that he no longer controls only the Cabinet, the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, the Court of Fact, but he already and in a very rare case when he does not comes after monstrous pressures that make sure the judge has the decision he wants, he created the Xhafaj commission to multiply the Constitutional Court by zero.

The pseudomajority or the majority of drugs and crime, in this coup act, to cover up the unconstitutional coup, the seizure of power of the Constitutional Court, justified themselves by sending it to the Venice Commission.

My appeal to the respected Venice Commission, to dismiss with contempt this trap attempt to justify the constitutional coup that Edi Rama and the Xhafaj commission carried out last night against the Constitutional Court.

Finally, I emphasize that regardless of the well-known complexity of Olta Xhaçka's relationship with the Rama family, I guarantee the Albanians that behind this attitude of Edi Rama, it is strictly his property family interests, that if it were not for those interests, he would not be member and shareholder in those 10 thousand square meters of land, not 1 but 5 Olta would be willing to throw aside.

So this act shows that for Edi Rama there is no norm, no standard, no law or Constitution that can prevent him in his mafia interests.

The Democratic Party strongly denounces this parliamentary coup against the power of the Constitutional Court at the expense of Edi Rama and his family.

The Democratic Party calls on the Albanians, today or never, to get Albania out of the clutches of this mafia boss who has only one interest; his power and wealth.
