The Commission for Re-establishment of the Democratic Party has deposited the names of the candidates for the primary in the Municipality of Shkodra.

The deadline was Tuesday and as expected the two potential names are the current mayor Voltana Ademi and the former Deputy Minister of Health Bardh Spahia.

Meanwhile, the other names are those of the former mayor Lorenc Luka, former MP Astrit Bushati, the deputy chairman of the Democratic Party in Shkodra Irena Shestani and the deputy mayor Ardit Qylybyli.

All candidates have submitted the required documents, along with the TIP form that was submitted to them. The candidate who will run on March 6 will be selected by the membership.

The selection process will be finalized on January 30th. Local elections will be held in 6 municipalities, that of Shkodra, Durres, Dibra, Vora, Lushnja and Rrogozhina.
