The election campaign officially begins, the Democratic Party takes the lead

The electoral campaign for the May 11 parliamentary elections officially begins today.

The Democratic Party and the "Alliance for a Greater Albania" coalition will open the beginning of a month with meetings, rallies and confrontations between political parties and candidates running for deputies of the Albanian Parliament, in 12 districts of the country.

The AshM campaign will be launched at "Mother Teresa" Square at 7:00 PM. The leader of the Democratic Party and the coalition leader, Sali Berisha, did not provide details of the organization, emphasizing that everything will be a surprise.

The official SP campaign opens on April 12 at 12:00. The Socialists have placed at the center of their program the slogan: "Albania 2030 in the EU".

Lulzim Basha will also launch his campaign on April 12, an hour before the Socialists, under the logo of the Euro-Atlantic coalition.

Each coalition has 186 candidates for MPs, according to the new electoral formula: 140 from the open list and 46 from the closed list.
