Rama proposed that KFOR control the north, Berisha: Evil, seeks to divide Kosovo

Prime Minister Rama demanded today that KFOR take control of the north of Kosovo, claiming that it is the will of both parties.

The head of the Democrats, Sali Berisha, reacted after Rama's statements, saying that his goal is to divide Kosovo.

"The master's theses, and I add in this way, the accusations against Kosovo, its leadership in the issue of the agreement between Pristina and Belgrade. Edi Rama requested today literally as Belgrade requested and deceived the Albanians and the public that Prishtina allegedly requested that KFOR be established in the municipalities of the north of Kosovo. KFOR military units, as NATO units, have international responsibility for guaranteeing the territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo and its defense.

First of all, the government of Kosovo and the international partners do not even agree with Edi Rama's boss, Vučič, and his argot in Tirana. They think and believe that the Police is responsible for security of order throughout the territory of Kosovo. It is the first line in guaranteeing order and the fight against criminality, throughout the territory without excluding any area.

Of course, in every case it cooperates and should cooperate with KFOR and EULEX, whenever the need arises.

But Edi Rama's request by order of Aleksandër Vučič that the municipalities in the north of Kosovo with a Serb majority be placed under the control of KFOR is a diabolical request which has no other purpose than to indirectly lead to the division of Kosovo between Serbia and Albania .

Edi Rama defended this project for the Northern Municipalities of Kosovo for years with the exchange of territories, but this project has failed, it has been archived once and for all.

Therefore, I condemn with the greatest severity this attitude of Edi Rama, who goes all the way in accordance with the demands of Belgrade", declared Berisha.
