Sali Berisha returns to the Assembly after 11 months

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha will return to Parliament on December 3, after 11 months under the security measure "house arrest".

Berisha will participate in the session where the budget will be approved item by item, in a return that brings important changes for his position in the plenary hall.

After the SPAK decision last December, when Berisha's immunity was removed, many things have changed.

Now, he is legally the chairman of the Democratic Party and will sit in the fourth row, a move made at the request of the chairman of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi. By his side will be deputies Flamur Noka and Jorida Tabaku.

However, despite being recognized as the legal chairman of the DP, Berisha continues to remain excluded from the parliamentary group of the DP and still appears as an independent deputy in the Assembly.

This return marks an important moment in Berisha's political life and his relations with the institutions and the democratic parliamentary group.
