Teliti: The return of the flat tax and the fight against corrupt PPPs are the priorities of the DP Government
The Coordinator for the Economic Program at the Democratic Party, Dorjan Teliti, has shared details on one of the main pillars of the 2025-2029 economic program, which focuses on small government and the return of the flat tax, efficiency and legality in the use of public money.
Teliti emphasizes that the flat 10% tax on income and profit will be restored, eliminating clientelistic and corrupt fiscal incentives that favor government cronies and oligarchs. He has also warned of the immediate suspension of payments and the cancellation of PPP concessions that are considered corrupt and clientelistic, starting with the incinerator and sterilization projects.
Another important point is the legal abolition of the right to approve any unsolicited PPP, the introduction of a mandatory competition with at least three bidders for public procurement, and the rigorous monitoring of the implementation of every public contract.
Teliti added that these measures will be implemented within the first 100 days of the DP Government, with Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

SMALL GOVERNMENT AND LOW TAXES, THE REALITY WITH BERISHA AS PRIME MINISTER!
1. Abolition of the murderous progressive taxation and the reinstatement of the 10% flat tax on income and profit,
2. Cancellation of any clientelistic and corrupt fiscal relief towards courtiers and oligarchs,
3. Simplifying bureaucratic procedures by saying enough to "hidden taxation" and returning to the principles of free and fair competition for every entrepreneur in the market,
4. The "ceremonial" removal of patronage figures from public administration, the significant reduction of operating expenses and the elimination of luxury expenses,
5. Immediate suspension of payments and subsequent cancellation by court decision of corrupt and clientelistic PPP concessions, starting with incinerators and sterilization,
6. Abolition by law of the right to approve any unsolicited PPP,
7. Introducing competition in public procurement with at least 3 bidders and rigorous monitoring of the implementation of each public contract,
8. And especially the implementation of a NEW MODEL OF DISTRIBUTION OF BOTH INCOME AND PUBLIC EXPENDITURE, where the focus will be on low-income groups (the living wage and the real increase in pensions), honest Albanian entrepreneurship and the creation of conditions for attracting foreign investment.
