Zhulali: Still no investigation in Albania into Rama being involved in the 'McGonigal' dossier

Zhulali: Still no investigation in Albania into Rama being involved in the

The Head of the Department of Foreign Relations in the Democratic Party, Ilda Zhulali, said that the US Department of Justice report not only confirms the allegations against McGonigal, but also sheds more light on China's interference in the US.

In the interview for Syri TV, Zhulali says that what makes this file most intriguing is the way it reaches the FBI, through Prime Minister Edi Rama's advisor, by capturing the American system there through corruption.

Zhulali: McGonigal was not dismissed, there was a judicial investigation and he received two sentences, in parallel with this, administrative investigations were launched by the FBI and the Department of Justice or even the Senate, where they are looking into the extent of McGonigal's influence and the damage that has been done to the FBI and justice system. The report confirms the previous accusations against McGonigal and sheds more light on China's interference in the US.

What makes the issue more intriguing is the way it was achieved, it is through the advisor to Prime Minister Rama to capture the American system in this way. The report has several parts, but they have been redacted because they contain sensitive information, from the data what is impressive is that in parallel with the name of such a high-ranking agent, there is another name of the Prime Minister, Edi Rama, which together makes him a pseudo-advisor whose activities are unknown.

Trump has had a personal investment in this case. There is an increased interest in the McGonigal case, and I believe that the investigations that will continue will also bring out other elements of this case.

What is not happening in Albania is that there is no judicial investigation into Rama's connections, which turns out to be the corrupt actor McGonigal, the role of Rama's advisor, Duçka and other officials involved. The involvement of these people, what it has produced, how it has violated the Republic of Albania. What we are interested in is how it has violated national interests.

There were 3 interests, 1- to hit the Albanian opposition, inertia still continues in Albania, as criminal files have been opened against the leaders. 2- the economic interests involved, how did Rama market them, in whose name? 3- Justice Reform, which was the biggest part of the success that Rama has kept in his mouth throughout these years, which in fact turns out to be failed and captured, under the complete control of Rama.

These should have shocked any normal country and a government, and the security that has failed at all levels in Albania. There is total silence in Albania, few media outlets are reporting it, so far are Rama's efforts to control the impacts that this issue should have or does have on our institutions.
