Ajola Xoxa leaves the "Harabel" gallery after inspections by the BKH

Ajola Xoxa, the wife of Mayor Erion Veliaj, left her business offices at Sky Tower in the capital this evening, where the Harabel Center is located, a foundation founded by her to promote art.

Apparently, she leaves the gallery parking lot by vehicle, thus avoiding confrontation with cameras and the media.

We recall that by order of the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime, judicial police officers today conducted searches at the offices of Xoxa's company, while previously they had also seized her mobile phone.

Searches were also conducted at the apartment of Veliaj's brother. The Special Prosecution Office itself did not provide details, but sufficed to explain that it had carried out several "investigative actions within the framework of a criminal proceeding."

Therefore, Veliaj has launched a wealth investigation, while his role in the Tirana incinerator case as well as in the "5D" company, which was owned by former directors of the Municipality, is also being examined.
