EU Ambassador Gonzato responds to Rama: We support justice reform

The European Union Ambassador to Albania, Silvio Gonzato, responded to Prime Minister Edi Rama, emphasizing the EU's continued commitment to support SPAK and justice reform.

Gonzato underlined the importance of trust in the reform architecture and emphasized that independence and accountability are necessary elements for a democratic society.

 " We will continue working with SPAK and justice. We must have faith in the architecture of justice reform. Accountability and independence lie at the core of every democratic society."

"Independence must be balanced, such as reviewing independence. All actors have their role to play. We have seen results in fighting organized crime, cybercrime and financial crime. We will continue to support justice reform ," Gonzato said.
